Innovation and New Markets Award

The "Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Shawinigan" (CCIS) rolled out the red carpet for its 2015 Desjardins Distinction Gala, which was held last Friday at Espace Shawinigan. This year, Bionest received the Innovation and New Markets Award for conquering new markets, development of new processes and innovative products and for its ongoing actions in its field, and for also instigating new technologies. A great deal of time and money are invested in Research & Development in order to continuously offer innovative products along with an outstanding service. Bionest also works on revitalizing its existing products; this is what allows us to remain a leader in domestic type wastewater treatment. All this, thanks to an incredible team!

Last September 21^st, the "Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Shawinigan" selection committee visited Bionest and proceeded with assessing the company’s internal and external developments as well as its innovations. Bionest stood out for its global activities and for developing and implementing its KAMAK^TM product, used for aerated lagoons : a unique process and product throughout Canada carrying positive impacts on the environment and which contributes in improving good municipal wastewater infrastructure management. Yet another award for the KAMAK^TM’s most innovative and outstanding aspects, which received the “Phénix de l’environnement” prize, given by the Ministry of Environment, Éco Entreprises Québec and the Québec Environment Foundation.

The "Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Shawinigan" gala recognizes both the excellence and determination of companies within the Centre-de-la-Mauricie region; a major showcase for our regional businesses. This prestigious event welcomes over 450 guests!
